Campervan solar power system upgrade

u

Requirement

Touring Europe in a brand new campervan, the client’s original solar system fitted by the UK dealer was failing and damaging the leisure batteries. It was an expensive solar system but it just wasn’t up to the job. The client needed to increase the power in their mobile home and protect the leisure batteries.

Solution

This mobile home solar power upgrade involved increasing the solar power to a practical level and upgrading the low-quality hardware to see if the leisure batteries could recover, which thankfully they did.

Solalgarve comments

“Upgrading the solar power system in a campervan, mobile home, caravan or boat takes both skill and patience. The layers of trim and fittings need to be peeled back to create ‘hidden’ cabling, so when it’s all refitted there are no reminders.”

Client feedback

“We were so relieved that Iain at Solalgarve was able to upgrade the solar system in our mobile home and save our leisure batteries. We can now free camp with no power shortages in almost all weather conditions.”
